Our simplified editing tool further allows refining of all content, resulting in policies specifically fitted for your agency's unique needs. A special color coded system alerts your administrator the origin of all content, at a glance you will know if a particular section or directive is based on precedent setting for federal, state court decisions, statutory requirements or best practices. We constantly monitor major court decisions, legislation, and new issues effecting law enforcement operations, which will allow you to always have the most current content available. Twice a year, or as needed in the case of urgent policy matters, you will be presented with updates and newly developed policies. With a click of a mouse button, your policy manual is updated and will have the opportunity to review all new content. Also included is a PDF creation tool, so when you are ready to publish your manual you have a quick and secure way to print or distribute to your employees or to place on your agency network. Policy Manual Development Process
When an agency subscribes, the first phase of the manual development requires completion of our questionnaire. Once we receive the completed questionnaire and the initial agency specific modifications are made to our existing policies, we will spend an average of 10-15 additional hours working individually with the agency representative to further refine the manual to the specific needs of the agency. Each of our staff members leading this work are experienced command level, law enforcement personnel. Once the DRAFT has been reviewed and approved, the manual will be completed with the agency receiving their 3-ring bounded copies of the manual with their own agency specific artwork on the cover. With hundreds of existing customers and significant growth each month, new subscribers benefit from the experiences of other agencies throughout their state and the country. Another unique aspect of our approach is that we send urgent updates when needed and regular updates annually. Policy is a primary pillar and is often the foundation for an agency's risk management efforts. Our approach is unique in process and product. We spent years developing a comprehensive manual using our own legal expertise and the combined efforts of top public safety command staff. Our current national master manual starts with over 140 individual policies based on the latest statutory law, case law and best practices. Our policy manual content is compatible with any accreditation standards and applicable policy can be cross referenced with accreditation standards. |
