Lexipol Introduces New Grants Support for Corrections Agencies

by | May 14, 2020

Lexipol, the leading policy, content and training platform for public safety agencies, recently announced the introduction of its CorrectionsOne Grants platform. The resource provides access to the most extensive grant listings database available to corrections facilities, as well as grant writing services and free sponsored assistance.

Every year, more than $600 billion in grant funding is available to public safety agencies and local government, yet they are either unaware of the available funding or ill-equipped to navigate the grant process. CorrectionsOne Grants offers three ways to assist correctional facilities with identifying grant opportunities and securing grant funding:

  • GrantFinder: The searchable GrantFinder grants database features a wide range of available federal, state, local and corporate grant opportunities. Members can filter for grants that best fit their needs for a low monthly subscription.
  • Grant Writing ServicesCorrectional agencies can connect with a team of experienced grant writing experts. The team, which has secured over $250 million in grant funds for public safety agencies, provides grant application writing and review services.
  • Sponsored AssistanceIn partnership with leading companies in the corrections industry, free sponsored assistance is available, connecting correctional facilities with companies that have grant-fundable products

“We are excited to expand our grants offerings to correctional facilitiesfollowing a model that’s proven successful across our law enforcement, fire and local government platforms,” said Lexipol Chief Revenue Officer Chuck Corbin. “CorrectionsOne Grants allows facilities to benefit from a wealth of grants expertise, and we’re excited about the opportunity to help facilities win the grant funding they need to do their jobs and protect our communities.”

This outlook was echoed by Sarah Wilson, Vice President of Grants for Lexipol. “Correctional facilities, probation services, and courts focus on recovery and rehabilitation efforts. We want to ensure there is a resource they can use to receive guidance and grant help specific to their needs and we believe CorrectionsOne Grants will do just that.”
