In response to the national calls for police reform, the New York State Legislature recently passed, and the Governor signed into law, new laws that will have a direct impact on police operations and training. Some of the laws are already in effect, while others will become effective next April. In addition, the Governor signed an Executive Order requiring local governments to perform a comprehensive review of all aspects of police operations.
Join Lexipol and the New York State Association of Chiefs of Police (NYSACOP) for an overview of the new legislation and its impact on agency policy and training. This webinar is open to all New York law enforcement officers and agencies.
