Lexipol, the leading provider of solutions that support total readiness in public safety, will launch the inaugural Readiness Week September 21-25, 2026. This new week-long initiative will bring together public safety leaders from across law enforcement, fire, EMS, corrections, and local government to explore what operational and leadership readiness looks like in today’s increasingly complex environment.
Public safety agencies are facing growing operational demands, staffing pressures, and heightened public expectations, often while managing disconnected systems and limited resources. Readiness Week was created to help agencies better understand those challenges and provide practical strategies for strengthening readiness across people, policy, training, and operations.
“Readiness is no longer something agencies can treat as a one-time effort,” said Jack Blaha, chief executive officer of Lexipol. “Agencies need visibility into where they may be vulnerable, confidence that their people and systems are aligned, and practical tools that help them adapt as demands evolve. Readiness Week is about helping leaders build that confidence and capability in ways that are realistic and actionable.”
Throughout the week, Lexipol will offer free live sessions, videos, articles, assessments, and downloadable resources designed to help agencies identify operational gaps and improve long-term preparedness. Key findings from Lexipol’s State of Readiness report, featuring responses from more than 800 agencies, will further inform the week’s activities. All content and sessions will also be available on demand after the event.
Agencies can also participate in the Total Readiness Challenge, an assessment that helps them evaluate where they are strong and where improvement opportunities may exist. Participants will receive a personalized readiness scorecard along with guidance and resources tied to their results. The challenge is designed to be simple to complete while helping agencies identify opportunities to start meaningful conversations about operational readiness and organizational alignment.
Readiness Week reflects Lexipol’s broader focus on helping agencies move beyond disconnected approaches to operational preparedness. Policy, training, wellness, compliance, and reporting are deeply connected, yet many agencies continue managing them separately.
