Lexipol Receives National Award for EMS State-of-the-Industry Report

Lexipol, the leader in policy, training and wellness support for first responders and public servants, received the bronze award for Online State of the Industry Report from the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) Azbee Awards.

The ASBPE Azbee Awards acknowledge professional publications for high-quality reporting, editing and design. Lexipol’s EMS1 media site was recognized as a regional winner and national bronze award winner for its 2021 EMS Trend Report, a project led by Kerri Hatt, editor-in-chief. The Trend Report analyzed the long-term impacts of the pandemic on EMS, the adaptability of EMS as a profession and the changes providers want to see in the future. The report was produced in collaboration with Fitch & Associates, the National EMS Management Association and sponsored by Pulsara.

“We are honored to be recognized by the ASBPE for the Trend Report, an extensive project that holds significant value for our audience,” said Lexipol Editorial Director Greg Friese. “Our editorial team strives to provide timely, relevant and high-quality content for first responders and public safety leaders, and this report exemplifies those efforts.”

With an average of 11 million page views per month and over 1 million registered members, Lexipol’s media sites have become the leading online news and information resource for public safety professionals and local government officials across the United States.
