PAUL HARNETT has a public safety career spanning over 30 years, culminating in his retirement as the Assistant Director of Public Safety for a college campus agency in 2014. During his career, Paul served in a variety of roles, including police officer, deputy sheriff, Medicolegal Death Investigator, and fire chief of a small rural volunteer fire agency.
Paul also worked at Lexipol as a Content Developer, where he utilized his expertise to create resources that support public safety professionals. In addition to his work at Lexipol, he taught Criminal Justice and Political Science courses at a local two-year college and serves his community as a field investigator for the Utah Office of the Medical Examiner.
Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Forensic Science, both from National University. His multifaceted background and dedication to education and public service have made him a valuable contributor to the public safety field.
