Lexipol Earns Two 2020 Eddie Awards for Industry Publications

Lexipol, the leading content, policy and training platform for public safety and local government, announced that two of its industry publications, Police1 and EMS1, have been recognized for excellence in the 2020 Eddie & Ozzie Awards. Celebrating excellence in editorial and design, the Eddie & Ozzie Awards are the largest and most inclusive awards in the publishing industry.

This year, Police1 received the Eddie Award for Best Newsletter (B2B) for the Leadership Briefing and EMS1 was awarded Best Column/Blog (B2B) for its “From the Editorial Director” column by Greg Friese, an educator, author and national registry paramedic. This is the eighth consecutive year Lexipol’s digital communities have been recognized by the Eddie & Ozzie Awards, totaling 17 Eddie Awards in categories including Best App/Digital Edition, Best Series or Single Article and Best Online Community.

With an average of 7.5 million pageviews each month and more than 1.36 million subscribed members, Lexipol’s digital communities (Police1, FireRescue1, Corrections1, EMS1, Gov1) are the leading industry news and information sources for public safety and local government officials across the country.

“We are honored to be recognized by the Eddie & Ozzie Awards among so many notable and esteemed publications,” said Jon Hughes, Lexipol’s vice president of digital media communities. “These awards are a testament to the continued dedication of the editorial team to providing the highest quality content to our audience.”
