Lexipol, the leader in policy, training and wellness support for first responders and public servants, has been named a gold winner for Legal Department of the Year in the Best in Biz Awards.
Lexipol’s legal team is not only integral in serving policy customers, but also supports the company’s online learning solution by providing review, analysis and edits for academy courses. The winning nomination noted the critical role Lexipol’s legal team plays in the development and maintenance of Lexipol’s policy guidance content and policy training, the magnitude of legal content continuously reviewed, and the proactive assistance the team provide to customers and other internal groups.
“I am incredibly proud of every member of our legal team and I’m honored that our team’s consistent, outstanding work has been recognized by the Best in Biz Awards,” said Lexipol Director of Legal Services Amy Thomas. “We work tirelessly to ensure Lexipol customers have the best, most effective solutions available to operate safely and effectively. Our legal analysis of new legislation and court decisions affecting public safety agencies, as well as the subsequent policy guidance we develop, is essential to that effort.”
The 12th annual Best in Biz Awards received more than 700 entries from companies of all sizes from across the United States and Canada. This year’s judges highlighted winning companies’ visionary leadership, innovative strides in the use of new technologies, laudable employee diversity and inclusion programs and workplace best practices, and many winners’ continued community involvement and investments in their environment and corporate social responsibility programs.
“The companies of the Best in Biz Awards teach us again a grand truth about organizational karma: the rewards come to those who figure out how to give more, do more, be more,” said Dale Dauten, King Features Syndicate, having judged numerous Best in Biz Awards programs since 2012. “These are the companies that you want to work for, work with, buy from and root for. They are the corporate equivalent of a life well-lived.”
