MEGAN CARPENTER is an attorney with a diverse background in law, engineering, and education. She worked in Content Development at Lexipol, leveraging her expertise to create impactful resources for public safety professionals. As a former prosecutor, Megan specialized in complex cases involving sexual assault, mental health, and substance abuse, often collaborating with and advising probation officers. Prior to her role as a prosecutor, she practiced as a civil litigator and was educated as an engineer before pursuing a legal career.
In addition to her legal work, Megan taught college courses in Criminology, Substance Abuse, Criminal and Constitutional Law, Ethics, and Juvenile Justice. She has a strong interest in the fields of probation, probation officer safety, and the mathematical analysis of risk, bringing a unique, multidisciplinary perspective to her work.
