Lexipol, the leading content, policy and training platform for public safety agencies, and Public Employer Risk Management Association (PERMA), provider of New York State workers’ compensation coverage and risk management services to municipal employers, are pleased to announce a partnership offering policy solutions for law enforcement. PERMA delivers workers compensation program to over 500 Members across New York State including towns, villages and special districts. Lexipol and PERMA formed this partnership to assist members with reducing risk of injuries and to strengthen their current agency policies and procedures.
Developed by industry professionals and public safety attorneys, the Lexipol New York Law Enforcement Policy and Training Manuals include more than 165 policies that are continuously updated to meet changes in laws and best practices. The subscription-based service also includes short, scenario-based training bulletins to reinforce policy content and accountability reporting. In conjunction with PoliceOne Academy, Lexipol also offers more than 1,400 law enforcement training courses and videos.

As part of the agreement, PERMA Members will be offered the Lexipol policy and policy training manual at a discount to help members benefit from reduced risk, liability and costs associated with out-of-date or incomplete policies. PERMA will also be providing a grant to offset the costs of new Lexipol subscriptions and more information regarding this grant opportunity will be provided in the near future.
Lexipol currently offers public safety policies to more than 3,500 agencies in 35 states.
